Principal's Message

Hello Dragonfly Families,

Welcome to Winding Creek Elementary! It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as your principal, Susanna Ramirez.

I bring over 20 years of administrative experience in education, including 14 years as an elementary school principal and the last three years serving as principal of Cooley Middle School. Throughout my career, I have learned that strong schools are built on meaningful relationships, open communication, and a shared commitment to student success.

As we open the doors to our brand-new school, I look forward to getting to know each of our Dragonfly families and building a strong foundation of trust, partnership, and collaboration. Together, we will create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

At Winding Creek Elementary, our motto is “Success for All at the Creek.” This motto reflects our commitment to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. By working together as a school community, we will establish traditions, celebrate achievements, and create a culture where all students can flourish.
